DOWNTOWN MARKHAM

Over the past years, we've worked with Remington group, a real-estate developer with several residential and commercial lands across Ontario. With the goal of driving more foot traffic into Downtown Markham, we created social media video content on a monthly basis, that creatively captures their amenities and events throughout the year. Here is a complete picture of what we achieved.

 

LIFESTYLE 

A PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, PLAY

During the course of a year, we film and collect a library of footage from restaurants, schools, and events in Downtown Markham. This allows for flexibility to create dynamic 15-30 second brand videos to promote the general space and lifestyle. The videos were optimized for wide and vertical formats allowing for multiple distribution channels. You can find these videos via Instagram (@downtownmarkham) and they occasionally play on the Cineplex Preshow in Downtown Markham. 

MARRIOT HOTEL

A PLACE TO STAY

Showcasing the luxurious and new Marriot Hotel in Downtown Markham with a 30- second brand video. The videos were optimized for wide and vertical formats allowing for multiple distribution channels. You can find these videos via Instagram (@downtownmarkham & @torontomarriottmarkham) and the digital screens in the Origin (Downtown Markham's Entertainment Centre).

A PLACE TO WORK

We created a 1-minute documentary to highlight the stories and spaces from York University's incubator for Markham start-ups. Videos were optimized for wide and vertical formats with subtitles, so people can view without turning on their audio. You can find these videos via Instagram (@downtownmarkham) & the third-floor screens of the Origin.

A PLACE TO PLAY

Hosting public events is a big contributor to building community and increasing foot traffic into Downtown Markham. From editing with assets (.png, .jpeg, .pdf, .mp4) to shooting new material for a promo video - we provide a range of flexibility and comfort when promoting monthly events.
